Cardano’s Testnet Is Live

Within 24 hours of Cardano’s testnet going live, Cardano (ADA) holders have staked more than 5 billion ADA coins, worth around $195 million. Since the Shelley testnet went live, more than 240 staking pools have gone online.

For example, users who stake 200,000 ADA, worth currently $7,250, could earn around $515 per year in staking rewards. Shelley mainnet will reportedly go live in early 2020, from which point staking will become available to all users.
